Dailan Harbor Pipeline Explosion and Massive Spill 2010 / Another Killer Blast in 2013

The worst oil spill Chinese history took place July 26, 2010 as a pipeline explosion spewed 25 million gallons of crude into the Yellow Sea. The spill created a 170 sq miles slick in the Yellow Sea that stretched about 56 miles along the coast. Estimates of the spill quantity generally place it about the same size of ExxonValdez, but this is hard to confirm due to the fact that authorities have never admitted it happened.
