Hot rain record falls in Needles CA

Precipitation Rare Over 110F But Needles Does It!

August 2012 – The hellhole known as Needles California recorded a temperature of 115F while raining, beating the mark previously held by Saudi Arabia by 6 full degrees. Amazingly, the Saudi record was set on July 7, 2012. In Saudi Arabia, conditions changed from a very dusty 113F situation into a thunderstorm, which cooled conditions to 109F. Relative humidity was 18% during the storm. It is extremely unlikely for rain to fall at all at anything over 100F.Daddy, has the weather been weird lately?
